Certainly a one off-find, especially in this size and condition.

A totally unique piece, ideal for restoration or set prop.

ANTIQUE RARE MULBERRY FARMHOUSE KITCHEN TABLE 1840
Certainly the most unusual table regarding timber we have had ...
This rural farmhouse table is made from Mulberry timber, genus Morus, commonly used in the production of silk.
It resembles the grain and density of Elm, but is generally darker in colour, a very pleasing warm dark brown.
This particular table was probably used in a rural kitchen for food preparation, there are many signs of wear all round.
Very tactile and with a wonderful grain, the base with amazingly time worn stretchers, the drawer well used to hold cutlery etc.
The loose top, sitting in the base with dove tailed sledge supports, is left un-waxed, ie scrub topped, for many more years of usage ahead.
The table has had some repairs to the stretchers and new pads added, they were too worn to be kept.
Other than that a really special find, a one-of-a kind country table !!

Dimension:
1075mm wide
900mm deep
810mm high

EARLY VICTORIAN MARBLE TOP PINE WASHSTAND IN ORIGINAL CONDITION 1860
A very real manifestation of quality Victorian style and craftsmanship.
A genuine un-restored pine marble top washstand, found in a farm house, undisturbed for many years.
Style and execution immaculate, criply turned legs, standing on white pottery / brass castors, all intact. The shapely shelf below to hold towels and toiletteries.
Two shallow drawers embellished with matching pottery handles, all topped with a magnificent heavy splash backed marble top, fit for a grand country house!
The original scrumbled finish is in excellent condition, a faux flame magoganny, but faded to perfection. A sacrilege to strip, hence left in it's original state.
No damage, no worm, no repairs.
The marble top is clean and very usable, tiny chips in 2 places, to small to get photographed properly.
Summarised: perfeclyt aged Victoriana, rarely found.

ANTIQUE IRISH COUNTRY HOUSE SCULLERY CONSOLE WORK TABLE 1850
Found in clean and scrubbed condition, a real 'country house' gem.
This Irish pine work table, dating from the mid 19th century, has never been painted or finished in any way. The whole of the body and top is in 'scrubbed' condition, having been used in a scullery or dairy.
Lovely mellow yellow pine, the thick two- planked top bread- board ended for stability, preventing warping and shrinkage, the chunky up-stand to keep bowls and containers in place.
A double stretchered base, pegged and tenon jointed, chunky square legs and a single drawer to hold utensils.
The cast iron cup handle likely to be a late Victorian addition, but functional and suitable.
The table is in very good condition all round, a few Irish wood worms paying a short visit, but evicted a long time ago and obsolete.
A great table for the kitchen, the slim console style suitable also for hall or server use.
If need be, the table could be waxed or varnished, please enquiry for that option.

ANTIQUE PINE RUSTIC SHELVED TABLE IN ORIGINAL PAINT 1850
A really lovely little country gem.
This table was found in the very first paint finish it had received, at around 1850.
Milk paint in a mellow beige primrose, crackled and distressed, but never removed!
The pine timber and a pale green undercoat is peeping through in many places, but the overall effect is ancient paint and character.
The original, very nice old three planked pine top has been stripped and waxed.
It is not attached, so can be removed for transport, the 2 sledge support below fixing it into position when in use.
A single full length drawer gives storage space, as does the nicely worn shelf below.
A good little all rounder, useful as a side table / console in hall, office or den or a worktable in kitchen, utility etc.

Dimensions:
1050mm wide
900mm high with up-stand
800mm high top

Lots of rustic and industrial heritage character, the sort of look that cannot be duplicated. Very large dove tails and sturdy chunkiness all round.
It would have been used by a joiner, carpenter or cabinet maker, the 2 wooden vices and the tray below handy for tools and clamps.
