A tall set of French fruit picking ladders, made in pine and found in a time worn original colour scheme.
Traditional tapered style, the top part of the ladder strengthened by a wooden block
The poles of the ladders are undamaged and covered in a very faded muted colour scheme with an ancient, very tactile uneven finish.
The rungs are also painted, but worn down to the pine, the kind of natural wear one cannot copy or reproduce.
The colour scheme is French, ~Tricolore, old white, blue and red.
Stemming from the north east of France, Cidre country.. dating around 1920.
Very sturdy and good to use, cleaned, but left un-polished.
A wonderful decorative prop, shop display / shop fitting, clothes rack, towel rail, focal point, the uses are many..
