Description
Antique painted frame found with the most beautiful mainly pale blue original colour scheme.The frame moulding is quite intricate, well executed and shows a medium to dark oak coloured timber back ground.
The bottom quarter of the frame is taken up by a solid panel, decorated with a plain lozenge design.
The ancient paint is smooth, yet rugged and weather worn, contrasting the timber beautifully.
The weather beaten brown hard wood timber frame shows through in many places.
Quite a rustic rough-ish piece .

Two strong iron ring fittings are fastened to the top bar, to keep the mirror in place... hanging or standing in a hall or focal point, an impressive piece!
