Description
Acquired from a large bakery clearance on the continent, these large pie dishes have served many years, dating back to the beginning of the 20th century.Used to bake pies and tarts for hungry peasants with good appetites.
We own a few of these dishes in various shapes, all will be listed in due course.
Some of these have been on TV, Peaky Blinders and Victoria series!
Made from tin metal, blackened over the years with use, beautifully shaped into the fluted round.
There are signs of wear and tear, but no breaks or damage as such.
Good to use for the storage of fruit, or to display collections or your balls of wool...you will know exactly what you need it for?
