Description

Rarely found in this country, a well travelled and well preserved American oak carver arm chair.
Taditional turned windsor / bodger style chair, well executed and good to use, in lovely patinated oak timber.
A comfortable wide saddle shaped seat, perfectly rounded turned arm rests, very well crafted....no breaks or splits
The rest of the chair displays turned spindles and multible stretchers and a carved spoon ended back bar, scratch carved into a spiral.
No repairs or damage, no worm, just good old fashioned patina and charm.
An interestiong piece of Americana, ready to incorporate into a country or cottage style and foremost... very comfortable...
