Description

A more interesting teaching chart, dealing with an industrial; process, called 'Thermal Cracking'.
Wikipedia entry:
Thermal cracking is a process in which hydrocarbons present in crude oil are subject to high heat and temperature to break the molecular bonds and breaking down long-chained, higher-boiling hydrocarbons into shorter-chained, lower-boiling hydrocarbons.
This particular chart has seen some use, the linen canvas and print are in generally good condition, the subject is clear and the graphics are still striking. There is some fraying around the edges and some watermarks are visible on back and front, but only on the top right hand side.
Please inspect the photos carefully... the chart is all one colour, the light patches are sun light, clouds passing that day...
As far as the vintage look is concered, it is good to hang and will be a talking point and good wall decor.
A fitting object for the budding or grown engineer.
But if you like 'perfect', this is not for you!
