antique pine kitchen dresser base in original distressed paint finish 1860

Item Ref

A useful rustic pine dresser base, traditional configuration of two drawers above two cupboard doors.
Well built and sturdy, but also well used and distressed.
A utilitarian piece, clean inside and out, providing ample storage space.
It is of medium size, not too big, not too small, ideal to use in the kitchen as a work station or in a rustic setting as a storage cupboard, perfect for a garden room...
The timber is pine, mellowed over time, with plenty of character, the paint a multi layered mainly cream and blue colour scheme.
The work top has a lovely worn look, plenty of wear and is framed by a little moulding.
All drawers and doors are working reasonably well, lock working.
Good iron hardware and iron knobs complete the country look.
No structural damage, minimal historic worm holes.
1020mm wide
860mm high
