Description
A typical very rustic-roughish country table, age mid 19th century, made from a sturdy close grained hardwood, not entirely sure which one..Previously a kitchen or work table, now reduced in height to serve as a sofa or coffee table.
Straight chunky legs, stretchered at the short ends for stability, some remnants of blue / grey / green paint here and there, metal braces around the corners.... handsome and tactile.
A good serviceable country table, as original as can be, except for the height.
