Description

A more interesting than standard pair of continental bedside cabinets, dating from the late 19th century.
Good quality construction, neatly paneled door, single drawer, rounded corners.
The cabinets are a true pair, ie the doors are facing opposite ways. Catches working.
The original wooden tops are in excellent condition and have retained the original painted finish, an elegant faux marble in buff / maroon and grey hues.
The cabinets below have been re-painted in a warm beige / buff, a slightly distressed matt chalk finish.
Generally in very good condition, no repairs, original pretty brass hardware, shelved inside.
A single strip of slight worm holes in each back board, treated and obsolete.
