Description

A more interesting than standard pair of continental bedside cabinets, dating from the late 19th century.
Good quality construction, neatly paneled door, single drawer, rounded corners.
The cabinets are a true pair, ie the doors are facing opposite ways. Catches working.
The original wooden tops are in excellent condition and have an elegant framed construction, possibly to take a glass inset, which could be provided, please enquire.
The cabinets have been painted in a warm off- white, a slightly distressed matt chalk finish.
Generally in very good condition, no repairs or worm.
A quirky added interest, never seen before in 30 years of trading, the cabinet drawers have a hidden secret slide in the back of each drawer, in both cabinets, nearly overlooked by us!
Please see photos..
