Unusual and rare, a fine Louis Philippe double pedestal desk or console table.
Finely turned double ended columns with a strong center stretcher supporting a drum top.
Centre drawer with original handle and Mother of Pearl inset. Ample knee space, 25 1/2".
Clean and sturdy, the base painted over the original walnut scumble in Crown's Historic Range 'Parchment' to give a new lease of life.
The tactile yellow pine top is stripped and wax polished.
Dating from the mid 19th century, originating from Northern Germany or Denmark.
No damage, no repairs, no worm.
An excellent small piece of original pine furniture in prime condition, usable in hall, bedroom, lounge, dining room or office.
