Description

A typical rustic Welsh cricket table, dating to Georgian times, 1800 to 1830.
Unpretentious, country style, solid construction with a good tactile rural feel.
The solid oak base stands well , a little worn at the tips of the legs, understandable, seeing the tavern past..( see photo 10 )
Painted in a medium Regency blue from the Crown Historic Range.
The top in stripped pine, original and with characterful signs of use. A small repair, shown in photos 7 and 8.
Historic wood worm channels found in the top, but no activity.
A useful genuine piece of country funrniture, not very often found these days.
