antique painted pine chest of four drawers 1900

Item Ref

A good and sturdy pine chest of drawers, dating from around 1900, no later.
Extremely well constructed, heavy and handsome, built to last.
Interesting minimalist decorative detail, reeding, moulded feet, decorative beading etc, a good complete set of brass handles and escutcheons, all parts original.
A finely styled chest of drawers, the drawers running smoothly, obviously hardly used, no sign of damage or worm.
A new lease of life applied in the form of F & B's Pavillion Grey, a warm neutral grey.
The are some stains inside the top two drawers in the form of ink spillages, often found in pieces of that period.
We also have a double wardrobe listed, which could be a perfect companion in style, age and colour.
1000mm wide
925mm high perfect height for baby changing...
