Description
A good quality French double bed in plain panelled style.Made in the 1920ies in solid oak, the head and foot board are divided into three moulded and fielded undulating panels.
The bed stands firmly on chunky carved escargot feet and both head and foot board display the elegant shapes of French style. Sides and the base of the foot board are equally decorative.
It has been painted in our signature colour "Parchment" by Crown, gently distressed and left in the 'trendy' chalky finish
This bed, like most French beds, will dismantle into 5 components and is easy to assemble with the original steel fittings.
A wooden slatted base comes free with this bed, but is optional.
