A very substantial and outstanding, somewhat bigger than standard early pine wardrobe, originating from the northern part of the Continent, Denmark or Germany.
Dating from the equivalent of the late Georgian era, 1800 to 1820, this wardrobe was made for a well-to-do household.
- panelled doors and sides
- rounded corners and deep intricate cornice
- very lovely patination
- beech re-inforced corners
- original well designed bracket feet, fully dove tailed
- hand forged internal iron hinges and catches
- original hand embossed sheet brass escutcheons
- working lock with key
- original internal shaker style hooks
-exceptional internal depth of 62cm!!

The style is perfectly country yet timeless, the condition is outstanding with the mellow look of a period piece.
The armoire dismantles for transport and access and is ready to use. A new brass rail has been fitted inside.
