antique pair of pine bedside cabinets 1900

Item Ref

A more interesting than standard pair of continental bedside cabinets, dating from around 1900, in Art Nouveau style.
Good quality construction, neatly panelled doors, decorated with a carved decorative plaque in true Art Nouveau style.
The handles are still intact, although Art Deco replacements, brass and bakelite, catches working.
The cabinets are a true pair, ie the doors are facing opposite ways.
The original tops are Rojo Alicante marble, so to compliment this fabulous look, we have painted the cabinets in a buff and cream combination.
These period night stands are in good solid condition, no damage or repairs, a hint of historic worm holes in the back boards, as always thoroughly treated and obsolete.
