A sophisticated small size country pine desk table or kitchen table in Louis Philippe style.
Elegant yet rustic in look, standing on double cabriole legs, base painted a warm medium Regency Blue, the stripped pine top a mellow satin wax finish.
The single dove tailed drawer has an original pull. The colour of the base is best reflected in the photo which shows the handle.
The table is well constructed, tenon jointed and pegged throughout.
It stands solidly, the legs being the original length, no shortening or damage, with ample leg room.
Probably used originally as a desk or dressing table in a lady's bedroom.
The desk is in good condition, drawer running smoothly, no damage or worm.
