Northern European, probably Danish, Swedish or German pine knee hole desk in good working order.
Five oblong drawers,2 with locks, three without, all running well.
Finely turned legs, most likely hardwood or elm and a clean, handstripped pine top.
Structurally sound and solid, painted in an off-white for a fresh look.
Metal handles and knobs are period replacements.
A decorative yet understated piece of country pine, suitable for an antique or more neutral setting.
The French chair shown fits well, is available, but is not listed seperately.(65)
