A rare single size pine wardrobe, dating back to the mid 19th century, over 150 years old.
Origin is northern Europe, most likely Denmark or Northern Germany, made from the finest Scandinavian pine.
Clean simple lines and minimal ornamentation:
* plain country style
* elaborate deep moulded cornice
* quarter panelled door
* doubled panelled sides
* external hand forged drop hinges
* original brass escutcheon
* working lock and key
* repalcement period bun feet
* no structural damage or repairs
The damaged backboards have been replaced with a solid piece of plywood. A small strip of scuffing on the underside of the base moulding, shown in photo no 7.
A new brass rail is fitted.
It conveniently dismantles for access and transport.
Assembly is straight forward, instructions will be given in photo and word.
A handy size wardrobe for the smaller space, with all the charm of a period piece.
