Description
A good quality French double bed in Provençal style.Made around 1920 in solid oak, head and foot boards double panelled with finely curved fielded panels.
The bed stands firmly on chunky carved escargot feet and both head and foot board display the elegant undulating shapes of French provincial style.
It has been painted in our signature colour "Parchment" by Crown, gently distressed and hand waxed.( colour can be changed upon request, add repainting cost @ £50.)
This bed, like most French beds, will dismantle into 4 components and is easy to assemble with the original steel fittings.
The bed has original steel brackets to accept a divan or bed base.
A cream damask covered bed base can be supplied, cost £145.
Should you just require a slatted base, that can also be supplied and fitted at a cost of £75.
