antique large pine glazed kitchen dresser louis philippe 1860

Item Ref

A magnificent antique pine glazed kitchen dresser in Louis Philippe style, dated around 1860. Originating from northern Europe, made for a well-to-do house.
Style attributes typical for the era:
*intricate carved crest, floral, leafy;
*break front cornice and side carvings;
*centre division on top and base, doors with working locks and keys, clean inside in original medium brown colour;
*stripped worktop with remnants of old paint;
*solid panelled doors in the base, again with working locks and keys;
*shelved inside, same medium original finish inside as found in the top;
*pretty shaped skirt and sides.
The dresser is in good solid condition, hints of old wood worm holes, not really worth mentioning.
No structural damage or repairs.
The paint is refreshed, matching the original tones of Buff and Cream, similar to F & B 'London Stone'.
A lovely find, never had a dresser this size in this style.
