Description

Chunky small Victorian trunk, heavy gauge pine, made to last.
Double beaded top, good long strap hinges, dove tailed, original brass carrying handles, original lock, but sorry no key.
Neat small box with ample character and storage .
Inside is a candle tray with remnants of historic wall paper, also found on the left hand side of the interior.
The exterior shows the original warm reddish / brown grain painting, in very worn and characterful shape.
No structural damage or worm
Ideal to use as a solid coffee table with storage , bedding chest, toy box etc.
This chest could of course also be stripped , cost �25 for strip and wax.
