Description

Found in totally original and untouched condition, a six drawer spice or herb shelf from the centre of France.
Craftsman made, sturdy, all six drawers in good working order and decorated with a diamond shape.
Decorative notches on both shelf bottoms add to the rustic charm.
Used in a farm house kitchen for storage of spices and herbs, a complete row of hand made thick wire hooks found on the bottom rail, used to dry the latter.
The original fluted porcelain knobs setting off the warm grained back ground.
The whole item screams 'Country' and certainly deserves a special place.
