A very decorative Danish piece of original pine furniture, made around 1870, in Louis Philippe style.Excellent quality throughout, substantial yellow pine, expertly executed detail in mouldings, reeding and hand carved decorative mouldings.
The lovely shelf above is a great decorative detail, beautifully carved supports and classic capitel.
A useful size too, configuration of a single door with full length drawer above.
No structural damage or repairs. Working lock and key. Original handles and escutcheons.
The cupboard has three internal shelves which are clean and original.
A great piece for many situations, hall, bed room, lounge, suitable for storage,as a book case etc.
The paint, Crown Historic Parchment, is recent, applied over the old similar shade, to give a new lease of life.
