Description
A very fine example of a mid 19th century northern European kitchen cabinet.Made in traditional style with deeply panelled doors,original hand blown glass in the top, diamond and carved decoration,reeded columns, chunky pillar supports and an elaborate deep cornice.
Very well built,solid throughout with little wear.
Shelved top and base, two good sized moulding framed drawers with original pewter handles.
The outside is painted in an elegant hue of original old White, with a fair amount of distressing, the Scandinavian pine shining through.The inside of the glazed cupboard has been repainted to tidy in a Scandinavian pale blue.
Locks and working keys original.
All original parts,no damage or new repairs, a couple of strengthening pads to support the back feet have been added some time ago.
A nicely sized decorative dresser ready to use.
Splits in two parts for transportation.
