Description
A real king size French Louis XV Revival oak bed, painted in off-white, slightly distressed and hand waxed for the chateau-chic look.The bed is made from solid oak and bears finely moulded fielded panels , double edged undulating Provencal lines around head board , sides and foot board.
Shell,wing and foliage detail on top of headboard and in each panel.
Elegant escargot feet complete the French country feel .
The bed sits solidly, the original steel screw fittings all intact.
Easy to dismantle, assemble and transport.
Altogether a very decorative yet timeless original French bed, not often found in king size.
A set of slats with central support can be provided and fitted upon request for £75.
